First Communion
Holy Communion is a gift from God, freely given and offered with grace. Our First Communion class helps children understand what Communion is, why it matters, and how it becomes part of their life of faith.
Whether you’re visiting for the first time or looking for a place to grow, we want families to feel comfortable, supported, and included from the moment they arrive.
Families show up in all kinds of ways on Sunday mornings, and there’s room for that here.
Nursery is available for the 10:30 AM service. It is optional, and families are always welcome to keep young children with them in worship.
Child Care is available to help support families during worship, but there is no pressure to use it.
Sunday School is available during the 10:30 AM service throughout the school year.
Children begin in worship with their families and are invited forward for a brief children’s message. Afterward, many head to Sunday School while worship continues.
Students build skills for faith formation practices and develop a basic understanding of God’s love for them and their identity as children of God.
First time visiting? There’s nothing you need to do in advance. We’ll help you find your way.
If you’d prefer to pre-register your child, you’re welcome to do so by visiting Church Center and looking for either Child Care or Sunday School Registration.
As children grow, so do the ways they participate in worship, community, and the life of faith at Hope.

Confirmation gives young people the opportunity to affirm the baptismal promises made on their behalf and begin taking greater ownership of their faith. At Hope, confirmation includes regular gatherings, conversation, learning, and shared experiences throughout the year.
Youth Ministry at Hope is for students in grades 6–12 and creates space for connection, fun, and faith to grow together. Throughout the year, students can take part in gatherings, events, and experiences that help them build friendships, ask questions, and stay connected to the life of the church.

Each summer, many of our children and youth head to Stony Lake for a week of faith, friendship, and unforgettable camp experiences. Families from Hope who would like to attend together are encouraged to register for Week 2, June 21–26, 2026.
For students finishing 8th grade or in high school, there are also special camp offerings available later in the summer. Pastor Amy can help you find the best fit.
Held each August, Vacation Bible School gives children a joyful, hands-on week of music, learning, activities, and community.
Typically held the week before Halloween, this is one of our favorite family traditions each fall, with food, costumes, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere for kids and adults alike.
The best way to keep up with upcoming events is by checking Hope’s calendar and signing up for our weekly email newsletter.
