LUTHERAN IDENTITY

What Guides Us

Hope Lutheran Church is part of the ELCA, a Lutheran Christian tradition centered on God’s grace, the life of Jesus, and the belief that faith is meant to be lived out in everyday life. We are a church with deep roots, but we are always growing and being renewed. We believe God’s love is for everyone, and we strive to be a place where all people are welcomed with compassion, honesty, and care. That shapes how we worship, how we treat one another, and how we seek to serve our neighbors and the wider world.

OUR STORY

A Story of Hope

Hope Lutheran Church began in 1977 through the courage and conviction of people who believed the church was being called to a more faithful and just way forward. What started as a new congregation shaped by conscience and shared purpose has grown over time, but the heart of Hope remains the same.
