Hope's Blessing Box, located outside on Hope's property, is a small free pantry offering non-perishable food, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies to those in need. Items we collect include paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue), cleaning products (disinfecting wipes, dish soap, laundry detergent), canned goods (meats, vegetables, fruits, and soups), dry goods (cereal, macaroni and cheese, ramen), snacks (protein bars, crackers, granola bars), and personal hygiene items (body soap, shampoo, toothpaste).
Monetary donations are also collected for this ministry.
Bags of Hope
Bags of Hope are bags given by Hope's congregation to people who have need. Each Bag of Hope is a drawstring bag that includes a resource list, personal care items, water, and a Granola bar. Periodically, members are invited to donate items as well as assemble bags for distribution.
Alternative Christmas Fair
Hope's Alternative Christmas Fair, held annually on the second Saturday of November, is a bazaar that offers an alternative to traditional shopping. All vendors participating in the Alternative Christmas Fair represent charities, and 100% of the proceeds earned at the fair benefit that charity. Shoppers have the opportunity to browse the goods and services under one roof knowing that all purchases directly benefit others in need.
